The Whitianga Oceans Festival returns for 2023

We’re back and excited to announce the date for the next Whitianga Oceans Festival as Saturday 9th September 2023. The Festival will involve all of the great seafood, live music and entertainment that has made this event one of New Zealand’s best loved food and wine festivals.

With the event not having been run since 2019, we are putting lots of effort into making the 2023 event a fantastic occasion.  The line up of tasty food, wide range of beverages, high profile celebrity chefs, and NZ bands, will create a great day out for you and friends.  Add themed actors, comedians and the beautiful seaside setting and the recipe for good times just gets even better.

Brought to you by Whitianga Scallop Festival Inc, the festival has been running for many years and was created to provide benefits for the Whitianga hospitality sector and for community groups to raise funds for their organisations.

To be held at The Esplanade beside the Whitianga Marina. Tickets go on sale Wednesday 17th of May.

We have no doubt this event will continue to be a sell out and thrilled to have it back on the calendar.  Look out for announcements soon as we release our exciting line up of musicians, celebrity chefs and entertainers.
